Personal and Commercial Licensing Agreement

Understanding how your artwork can be used—clearly and confidently.

PERSONAL LICENSE

Permitted Use: One project, personal use only
This license allows you to use a purchased design or illustration for one (1) personal, non-commercial project. It may not be used to promote a business, product, or service in any way.

Examples of permitted use:

  • Framing the artwork for personal decor

  • Using it in your own wedding stationery (invitations, signage, menus)

  • Uploading it to a third-party site for personal items (e.g., cocktail napkins, guest towels)

  • Creating a one-time gift for a friend or family member

Not permitted:

  • Using the artwork on a website or social media in connection with a business

  • Printing it on packaging, business collateral, or ads

  • Sharing the file with other designers, planners, or vendors

  • Reusing the artwork across multiple personal projects or gifts

Note: Only the original purchaser may use the file. Files may not be forwarded, shared, or repurposed. If you’d like to use the artwork for more than one project, a commercial license must be purchased.

COMMERCIAL LICENSE

Permitted Use: Up to 500 finished goods or client uses
A commercial license allows use of artwork in client-facing or revenue-generating projects, including resale items or branded collateral—up to 500 total units.

Examples of permitted use:

  • Incorporating artwork into multiple client projects (e.g., weddings or events)

  • Printing artwork on products for resale or large-scale gifting (totes, T-shirts, welcome bags)

  • Submitting the file to a production partner (e.g., for foil stamping or letterpress printing)

Not permitted:

  • Reselling or distributing the original file (editable vector, PSD, or print-ready format)

  • Adding your own logo and reselling the artwork as-is

  • Sharing the artwork with teammates, designers, or vendors for unrelated projects

    Each user must purchase their own license for commercial use.

WHAT’S NOT PERMITTED (UNDER ANY LICENSE)

  • Reselling, sublicensing, or distributing the artwork in editable formats (AI, PSD, PDF, EPS, SVG)

  • Using the artwork in a way that competes with the original (e.g., selling it as a template or asset)

  • Claiming the artwork as your own or registering it for copyright

  • Using the artwork in illegal, offensive, or defamatory material
